Meet the Salsa: Our Open-Air Photo Booth & Selfie Pod Experience.

Click Photo Booth uses the Salsa: a modern, open-air iPad photo booth powered by Fiesta software. It is the same physical booth behind our wedding, corporate and celebration experiences — with the software, styling, backdrop and output adapted to suit the event.

Looking for a selfie pod? “Selfie pod” is a common search term for this style of compact, open-air digital photo booth. Click uses a genuine Salsa photo booth rather than pretending there is a separate machine for each experience.

Selfie pod hire Yorkshire

Looking for a selfie pod? This is the modern open-air booth style people mean.

A selfie pod is generally a compact digital booth that guests use while standing in the open rather than stepping inside a traditional enclosed booth. That description fits the style of Click’s Salsa setup, although Salsa is the actual product name of our equipment.

The open layout works particularly well when couples, friends or colleagues want to gather together in front of a backdrop. It also keeps the booth visible as part of the event rather than hiding the experience inside an enclosure.

  • Open-air guest setup rather than an enclosed box
  • Modern, compact booth body with integrated illuminated ring
  • iPad-led guest interface
  • Works with physical backdrops or an appropriate venue background
  • Can be configured differently for weddings, parties and business events
One physical booth: “Salsa”, “open-air photo booth” and “selfie pod” are not three different Click machines. This page explains the terminology without misleading you.

Meet the hardware

A clean, open setup designed to become part of the event space.

The Salsa keeps the physical setup visually simple while Fiesta controls the on-screen experience. The result can feel completely different from one booking to the next without changing the actual booth.

Built around the event

Digital artwork, LED presentation, templates, backdrops and other options can be selected according to the package and event brief.

How it works

From Tap-to-Start to a finished event capture.

The precise journey depends on the event configuration, but the booth is designed to make the guest flow straightforward and familiar.

01

Approach the booth

Guests gather in front of the Salsa and the chosen backdrop or event setting.

02

Tap to begin

The customised Fiesta interface starts the configured photo, GIF, Boomerang or other enabled mode.

03

Create the capture

Guests follow the countdown and any configured effect, template or event-specific experience.

04

Share or keep it

Available digital sharing, gallery access or printing depends on the package and event setup selected.

Powered by Fiesta

The software turns one Salsa booth into different event experiences.

Fiesta is the software platform behind the booth. It controls the guest interface, capture modes, templates and overlays, sharing settings, galleries and a range of optional effects.

Not every Fiesta feature is automatically included in every Click package. The event package and agreed setup determine which functions are enabled for your booking.

Fiesta experience options

Photos are only one part of what the booth can be configured to do.

Fiesta supports multiple capture, design and delivery tools. Click uses the appropriate options according to the package and event requirements rather than switching everything on by default.

01

Photo Mode

Still photographs can use a designed template or overlay prepared for the event.

02

GIF & Boomerang

Fiesta supports animated GIF and Boomerang capture modes alongside conventional photographs.

03

Digital Sharing

Fiesta supports email, text, AirDrop and QR sharing methods; the configured options depend on the event.

04

Live Gallery

Where enabled, Fiesta can publish event captures into an online gallery for viewing and permitted downloads.

05

Tap-to-Start & Branding

Guest-facing screens and event artwork can be customised so the interface fits a wedding, party or corporate brief.

06

Filters & Effects

Fiesta includes filters and, on the appropriate software tier, additional effects such as Glam and background removal.

Glam / Black & White

The Glam Edit: a different look from the same Salsa booth.

Glam does not require Click to pretend it owns another physical booth. Fiesta Pro includes a Glam Face Effect, while Fiesta filters can also create a black-and-white capture style.

That means a future or selected Click setup can be designed around a cleaner, more editorial aesthetic using the same Salsa hardware — paired with an appropriate backdrop, minimal output design and the relevant Fiesta settings.

  • Black-and-white filter styling can be configured in Fiesta
  • Fiesta Pro includes the separate Glam Face Effect
  • Minimal template and screen design can support the overall aesthetic
  • Digital delivery remains available where included in the selected package
  • Printing can be paired with the experience where the chosen package includes print output
The physical booth remains the Salsa. “The Glam Edit” describes the visual experience and software setup, not a second piece of equipment.

Make it yours

The booth can look and feel different without changing the hardware.

The strongest event setups combine Fiesta’s digital experience with physical styling around the booth. What is available depends on the package you choose.

Salsa, selfie pod or open-air photo booth?

Different search terms. One transparent Click Photo Booth setup.

You may have arrived here after searching for selfie pod hire, open-air photo booth hire, digital photo booth hire or a Salsa photo booth. Those phrases can overlap because they describe either the style of booth or the product itself.

Click’s equipment is the Salsa photo booth from Photobooth Supply Co, powered by Fiesta software. We use the broader terms where they accurately describe the experience, but we do not claim to own several different machines when the same Salsa is being configured in different ways.

It is accurate to describe the Salsa as the type of modern open-air digital booth that many people search for as a selfie pod. Salsa is the actual product name of Click’s physical booth.

Is the Salsa an enclosed photo booth?

No. The Salsa is an open-air booth. Guests stand in front of the booth and a chosen backdrop or suitable event setting rather than entering an enclosed cabinet.

What software does the booth use?

Click’s Salsa is powered by Fiesta from Photobooth Supply Co. Fiesta manages the event interface, capture modes, templates, sharing settings, galleries and supported effects.

Can the Salsa take GIFs and Boomerangs?

What is the Glam / Black & White experience?

It is a software-led visual style using the same Salsa booth. Fiesta offers black-and-white filters and Fiesta Pro includes a Glam Face Effect, allowing an event to be configured around a cleaner monochrome aesthetic where appropriate.

Can guests receive their photographs digitally?

Fiesta supports several digital sharing methods, including email, text, AirDrop and QR sharing. The methods made available at a Click event depend on the package and configured workflow.

Can the booth print photographs too?

Yes, print output is available through Click packages that include printing. Digital-only packages and print-inclusive packages are kept distinct so you can choose the service that suits the event.

Can I customise how the booth looks?

Yes. Click offers event customisation including guest-facing digital artwork and LED ring choices, while physical backdrop options can change the wider photo area. The exact inclusions depend on the selected package.

Do you offer selfie pod hire across Yorkshire?
